how to become a wound care consultant?
Hi! everyone. I know when to measure a wound, from head to toe direction is the length, and from side to side is the width. but sometimes i am confused if a wound is irregular shaped. let's say this wound on the front leg is triangular -shaped, we call it ABC ( to make it easiler to describe) A is the top point, point B and C are on both sides. line AB is longer than line AC. so how do you measure its length? the length will be from point A to where? how to measure the width? another question: sometimes a wound's length can be shorter than its width, right? thanks so much for help!:balloons:
