  1. Thanks alot for the info Trisha I dont have a lot of family in Canada , its just me and my sister so missing family won't be an issue for me besides I'm going just for the summer. I lived in Canada for 5 years before my sister moved here too. Thanks again, I will keep you posted. And oh I lived in Prince George for 3 years ( i know its not considered remote ) but it is a small town. :) So I think I will be fine up there.

    Hi I lived in Victoria for 2 years Worked as an LPN but not for VIHA I personally prefer living in Victoria to living in Vancouver,I am back in school and I must say I miss Victoria very much Its a smaller city than Vancouver , its easy to get from point A to B not too much traffic. the transit isn't as good as Vancouver though. Cost of living is almost the same I lived in a one bedroom in Victoria for $795/month Now I live in a 2 bed 2 bath condo which i rent for $1100. Umm cant think of anything else to add right now, but if you have any specific questions I'll be glad to answer them

  4. Hi Trishrpm80, I am an LPN too and just applied to a job in the yukon, not sure what health authority. I am currently in school though, taking the Psych Nursing program but I am hoping to go and work there for the summer. I already have a phone interview set up for the 8th of march. Just wondering what kind of questions you were asked on the interview. I am really excited, I hope this works out and Thanks in Advance

I'm a practical nursing student in BC and i graduate in aug 2008,and i wanna practice in Toronto but the problem is i dont know if they still hire LPN's with one year eductaion cause i know in Ontario its a 2 year program for Practical Nurses. And are there bridging Programs from LPN-RPN and can i get a job as an LPN while bridging? And can i get Licensed In ON with a BC education PLS HELP!!!!
