My name is B and I was let go from my job in October. I have been a nurse for 11 years now in that same system. Previous work has been in IMCU 8 years, ICU 1 year, and PACU 2 years. I have been applying to jobs in thesame area. I like working where the patients are monitored. I do not want to go back to ICU. It was emotionally exhausting for me. I am bilingual in Spanish and am available to work ASAP. I have put in applications and resumes. I have only received one letter of regret. When I called to talk to HR about a house managementposition, I was told that in needed managerial experience for that. My questionis that in all my previous jobs I have known someone that has worked in the department. What can I do to speed up the process? It has been 4 weeks since I have sent resumes for specific jobs. Any advice would be much appreciated. I am starting to feelworthless and anxious.

well i am doing this lippincott 3500 questions and i took the kaplan that did not help. my weak areas are in the maternal,child and stuff like that and the meds cause in nursign school we did not have to take pharm class and on the test there were some meds that i never heard of

hello everyone first i am happy that i found this forum. i have taken nclex 2 times and did not pass both times i had 265. i have wanted to give up. i am so weary about the test that i cant send away for my att. i am just so scared to have 3 times undermy belt. and i need to work. as male i have been a aid and have been abused by the other nurses. and the other aids feel intimidated when they find out i am a bsn nurse. my question is where can i work in the mean time, while i take my test. i need insurance and food. and also any advice in this evil test. thanks me
