  1. How many Ortho TKA/THA cases per shift

    I'm just wondering how many TKA's or THA 's are done during and 8 hour shift in your facilities? I'm working at a hospital outside of the U.S, where we lack the legendary American efficiency. A normal shift for us will include time for 2 totals, and 1 smaller ortho procedure, such as a knee arthroscopy. We are guaranteed two 10 minute coffee breaks and a 30 minute lunch, just for perspective on time constraints. We were discussing this last week at work and I thought it would be interesting to hear straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. Thanks, Unit
