  1. Do men use RN degree to get to bigger places?

    This was just a thought I was having. Most of men in nursing that I know have only gone into nursing because it would allow them to move on to bigger and better things like CRNA or NP or even PA school. Is there anybody that went into to nursing to be a nurse and been happy with that decision?

  2. Starting in the ICU. Good or Bad?

    As background info....I am a male nursing student that will be graduatig in a month from now and have already been hired on in a smaller community hopsital in the ICU (12 bed). I know that some hospitals won't even hire new grads in the ICU and I am just wondering if any of you had started there and think it is a good idea or not.
