  1. once upon a time Medics could challenge the RN board for the simple fact of we where trained like RNs (with the exception of pushing narcotics) Its frustrating that I have the experience and training but cant do anything with it. I am currently doing a bridge program for my RN but i still have to work to make a living...
  2. yes i am licensed in california...but i haven't tried hospice...will i have a chance even without hospice expirence
  3. Hello everyone I am a military trained LVN that challenged the board to receive my license about 3months ago and passed my first try (hold the applause...lol). Although I have much experience with the military it was 4 years "before" I got my license. Its quite frustrating that i have a license and cant do anything with it. How can I get a year "experience" if no one will hire me? Can anyone help me on tips on getting hired @ a hospital? Or anywhere for that matter?
