  1. okey, thanks... ill just inform some of my frends who wants to become a nurse for them to avail the scholarhip... thanks.. :typing
  2. can i still avail for that scholarship eventhough i will be graduating this march?
  3. are you working or have been exposed at a public hospital? well, here at mindanao those latex gloves are just washed with tap water however these gloves are not re-used for surgery but it is used again as clean gloves. we Filipinos are so INDUSTRIOUS.
  4. i wonder why the Philippines is having a 2 year vocational course, 6 months caregiving.... well infact their are a lot of filipino nurses who are unemployed and nursing students whom wished for a better future.... and for the fact that it is those practical nursing who are immediately accepted in the work, to think their knowledge and skills are not that much than those whom studied nursing.... and during our duty i have noticed that there is only one nurse on duty and about 2-3 practical nursing. and as i have witnessed that scenery i am worried for my future, because i might or will become one of those unemployed nurses; whom studied for four years and spends a big amount for the course and in the end i might or will become UNEMPLOYED, or might be EMPLOYED yet recieving too little salary which is not enough for our daily needs.
  5. id lyk to share one of my experience during our case presentation, wherein i was one of the PCI (Practicing Clinical Instructor) and I was handling the NCM (Nursing Care Management) 104. During the day of the presentation, one of the panels is our NCM 105 instructor, wherein she had her masteral for MN and MAN, and she had a daughter in the lower year having NCM 103. During the presentation of her daughter she went out during the presentation, and after wards she return at the room, and during the deliberation she is just on the side listening without asking anything, and we noticed she put a grade on a sheet of paper and one of our Clinical Instructor told us that the group that i am handling had a low grade while the group of her daughter got a high grade wherein, thier presentation needs to be reformat because they had a very wrong assessment, pathophysiology and NCP..... and our CI told us that we had a lower grade because we did not present it on the LCD, while in fact on the day before the presentation we were told that the LCD projector is not available........... and i wondered and asked myself: is our grade only based on the LCD projector presentation or on how the individual presented the topic? or its just that one of the NCm 103 group presentors is the daughter of one of the panels??? is it really ethical for an RN, MN, MAN person??
  6. as a nursing student and as a nurse it is our responsibility to impart health teachings to our patients such as: a. avoid cigarrete smoking b. drink alcoholic beverages oftenly  c. avoid eating cholesterol rich foods d. eat high fiber rich foods/ eat healthy foods e. do daily routine of exercise:pumpiron: f. instructions of relaxation techniques and etc. But as a nurse do you practice those health teachings that you shared with your patient?

  9. hi guys.. good day..... my classmates and i were having a research project which tackles about: The extent of Health Practices of Nursing Students.. our independent variables are: a. age b. gender c. social status. and our dependent variables are: a. cigarette smoking b. alcoholic drinks c. trauncy... my problem would be on how to construct a statement of the problem from these variables...... please help me guys... please...........
  10. i'm still a student and it is still our first write up on nursing research in which our instructor told us to use only topic that is visibly affects the nursing students of my school.....
  11. my research title talks about the effects of having a "lover" on the academic performance of the nursing students on my school....
  12. in this case the newly Rn is a graduate of physical therapy and hen she pursued to nursing course...
  13. I wonder about one of one clinical instructor who is long in her service as a nurse and she is already an RN, MN licensed nurse she is teaching the care giving students while the newly RN instructor is teaching nursing students..... The big deal here is: RN, MN nurse is being petitioned by our fourth year co-students due to being strict and the new C.I. of us is the wife of the CEO of our school........... If you were the well experienced C.I. what would you feel? Is this ethical?
  14. hello nurses.... good day.... please i need your help in choosing a good topic in my research project.... my idea about the title is the case of my clasmate in one of my post.................. please guys........ +=Nnob=+
