  1. Thank you so much for the information! Its very appreciated! I have a old ACT prep book but I am not sure how different the tests are...I know the compass/asset is supposed to be easier. I will just start studying basics. Thanks again!
  2. I am reposting this in the student LPN section. I am new to the site and didn't realize there was a seperate student forum. Hey everyone. I am about to move back home due to my husband leaving me. And I was actually waiting to start nursing. But now that I have to find a way to support myself I really want to first become a LPN. I am looking into going to the local technical school near where I will be living. The biggest thing so far from what I have found online is the compass test. I have to score a certain amount in math, english and reading in order to get into the program. I haven't found much information online about this test and examples. I really need to study and do as well as I can the first time. Does anyone have experience with this test? I am very nervous about math and most of what can be on there. I have been out of school for about six years now so I have forgotten tons of basic stuff. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for the replies! What is the point system? Is that just the pre-reqs or more?

I am looking into getting a associates degree in nursing. I was curious if anyone has been to Spokane community college or a college in North Idaho that has an associate degree program. I know most ADN programs are competitive. I would just like to know if anyone here has or knows someone that has gotten in and how hard it was to get in. I am new to all of this and have requested info from the school. If you have any info or experience with this college please let me know! Thanks! Michelle
