I am a current student at Pacific College and you are correct IF you are lucky to get one of the FEW good teachers there than you have won half the battle but if not, you are more or less taking a internet course. There are many issues at this school and none that they care to address. We have a class full of hard working students that study 6-9 hours a night 7 days a week. If you have a instructor that is in it for other reasons than teaching you are screwed. If you have one who has an attitude for the students instead of for the recognition than you are fortunate. It is a fast paced course that takes dedication but if you have a nutty instructor there is only so much you can accomplish on your own. DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TOO.

I am currently attending the school and I feel as if I am a victim of false advertisement. They do not have many decent teachers and getting your payment or loan seems to be the only concern. Too many teachers that are burnt out, inexperienced but highly educated and power trippers. The D.O.N. is a major power tripper. The D.O.E. what a joke, she is too busy to see anyone. And to think they are trying to get the bridge program for RN's if Karma works they will be denied.Every time I have had a concern regarding my education I am passed on to one person to the next in the administration until I get frustrated and stop inquiring. The way I look at it if they can't keep TP and hand towels in the restrooms they certainly don't care about other issues. I personally know of instructors who date students, much favoritisim is practiced there too. I have been favorites with some instructors so this isn't envy speaking it is the truth. It does make it easier on you but not helpful with your classmates. If I had a rather I wish I would have gone to Golden West and not a vocational. I truely feel that I got a raw deal. The tutor program is probably the best thing they have going for them. Think real hard and if you are desperate go there but if you have choices really listen to the students in the break room during break. You will not hear happy students.
