Hi, i'm Sitting an exam in two days..and need some help... Which soluion can be used to prime the infusion set prior to a blood transfusion? a) isotonic Normal Saline b) 3% Sodium Chloride C) 5% Dextrose solution D) Aminophylline solution i'm thinking A for some strange reason? would that be it?

heya...yeah that's what i'm stressing about...drug calcs!!! one little mistake and three years of study and stressful interviews down the drain..kind of. just hope they don't throw in some random disease that you just go 'what?!?'. really am hoping that its as easy as people say it is. i'm riding on that lol!! :-D Good Luck to you for state.

Hey Rach101 thanks so much for the reply...i know i heard the same thing too about States being so easy, some RNs even say that they didn't study and passed...what i'm stressing is omg imagine if i fail seeing as everyone is saying its going to be so easy!! lol!! :-p but yeah i used the NCLEX and then i met a lecturer who said don't use it because its so overwhelming it'll do my head in... :-S lol!! but its great..sometimes haha. can't wait for the Nov 20th exam to be done and over with...two sections mmmm just wondering if theres a safety and drug calcs section on their own or is merged??? good luck with your exam!! and shall see you out in the hospitals :-D!!

hi, have a question in the registration exams that states: the maximum volume of a drug which can safely be injected intramuscularly into a well developed adult is A) 2ml B) 3ml C) 5ml D) 10ml i was looking up online and asking my classmates but we seem to be stucked between 3ml and 5ml. if anyone could help us out it will be great :-D thanks!!

Hello!! i'm currently getting ready to sit the NZ Nursing COuncil state exams to be a registered nurse in three weeks...i'm just wondering if anyone can help give me a few tips on how to study and prepare for state exams...the nursing school says 'study everything' but there is just sooooo much its overwhelming. is state really a difficult exam?!? because i'm so stressed about it its terrible...any...ANY advice at all would be so appreciated. thanks :-D
