  1. thanks to all for your help. if i understood correctly what i need to do now is to go through cgfns and there is no other choice, right? oh well, i will have to try that then, my husband is still going to be working in nashville tn for a while and i need to start making money with the gas prices and the recession. just to know, does anyone can tell me which states requires only ces? thanks again patricia
  2. Hello, I have taken the NCLEX exam (and failed) before having a green card and when living out of the country. I applied for Colorado because they did not asked for the CGFNS or the english exam. Now I am living in TN and not sure how can I do to retake the NCLEX without going through the CGFNS. Any help would be greatly appreciate. Patricia
  3. CGFNS already send them the CES and as I read their website the only thing I need to do is to send my application (and the check for the fee and the affidavit of elegibility) and wait for them to contact Pearson in order to get the ATT and schedule my NCLEX. Right? But what happens after I take and pass (hopefully) the exam have a limited license (only for Colorado) and want to work in another compact state? I did my nursing training in Peru.
  4. Hi, I am new to this forum (or any other for that matter) and need some information. I came to the USA with an H-4 visa (dependent of H1B) but currently have a Green card. I have been taking care of my daughter but now need to start working. I live in Tn (a compact state) but we are planning to move to Colorado. I was filling the application from the Colorado State of nursing and found out that because I am living in TN can not apply there and need to apply here where CGFNS is required. I do not want to take this exam (and spend more money). I have been studying hard for NCLEX and not sure if there is a way around it. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to for example to use my address in my home country? Thanks
