  2. Hey Humble, Actually I just graduated from Edison's Program In December, and Just took my NCLEX on Tuesday and PASSED!!! I think Edison's Program was great, ALOT of work, but really prepares you. I did have to submit my ACT scores when i applied (They were not doing the HESI exam 2.5 years ago) I believe they are now making students take the HESI, and i am not sure about ACT. I dont think it matters what semester you apply for, truthfully every semester they do have A LOT of applicants, so your chances are about the same. GOOD LUCK, and if you have any questions, even when in the program, you can definately get in touch with me :)
  3. Hey Guys!!! I have a quick question. I have to go to get a physical tomorrow and meet with HR to sign some papers, so I can start work. This is my first nursing job, and i was wondering what is appropriate to wear? DO i need to dress business like, or is it okay just to wear jeans and a nice top? I figured since i already have the job and am just signing papers; it would be no problem to wear jeans. BUT i wasn't sure. Please let me know what you think!!! Thank you in advance!!
  4. I didn't mean lost accredation, what i ment to say was on probation. That was the last i heard, so from what i have found, i guess the probation has been lifted. http://www.rwjf.org/pr/digest.jsp?id=25583&cid=xrs_rss-nd AND BTW, i wasnt bashing the school, i went there for two years, i was just trying to help the original poster to have the information. Sorry i was wrong.

CHeck out Sarasota, Fl North Port, FL (This is only an ER), Venice, Port Charlotte (2 hospitals here), Englewood, and Punta Gorda. They all have hospitals that should be hiring new grads. 8. Edison college in fort myers florida.. i am almost possitive they dont have a waiting list. You have to apply each and every semester to get in.. and then if you dont get in you dont start.. and they start over again the next semester.. THey graduate 2 classes a year.. and its a great program :) www.edison.edu
  9. I go to school at edison... IT IS THE BEST program. FGCU lost their accrediation.. so there is no BSN program. By the beginning of next year Edison will have a BSN program..

  11. I believe it was a staph infection, but dont quote me on that. :) It did effect her vision because her eye swelled up so much. After they drained it, she had blurred vision and was seeing double. By discharge her vision was back to normal. I was thinking i could do impaired tissue integrity r/t cellulitis
  12. Thank you so much, i have all my labs written down with what they mean, i just thought it would be too much to post, so i didnt. The pt has significant anxiety about the PICC line insertion, she was crying and talking about it non stop, she did NOT want it done. So that is why i was using anxiety. They had a Child life specialist come in a talk to her about it, they used music therapy and distraction. The problem is i need ONE more nursing dx, and i cant think of one that wouldnt be psychosocial. Do you have any ideas?
  13. Kolt... i am sorry to ask... can you please send me one also? i would really appreciate it. Thank so much!! [email protected]
