ps- i heard that the first test for nursing 1 didnt go so well:(. It's probably that damn computer testing they have going on now. hopefully things get worked out. good luck too all of you!

Nursing V is pretty good so far... you go over a lot of the same stuff as nursing !!..just with pedi alterations. the teachers are very nice and kinda "warm and fuzzy" haha. for the first test the average was an 83. the questions were very fair in most students opionions. the class gets split up so half the class starts at hasbro for clinicals and the other half starts at W&I...then we switch mid-semester. Im at hasbro and its great, but you dont get to do as much as with the old people:p...def a different experience:)

ok its good to hear its not TERRIBLE! ive heard nightmare stories where people found it harder than II and failed out. good luck this semester!!

Brantaf: I'm in nursing V this semester...in newport we are doing nursing V before IV for some reason??? im curious about nursing IV..i heard it's harder than II....

hey...i just finished nursing 2 in newport in the day program. the waiting list is rather short..i was on it for about 4 months and i started last january. im not sure if the list has gotten longer since then. the one thing I wish I knew when I started is how much time you really have to put into it. i would recommend NOT WORKING b/c it will relieve a lot of tress...the teachers are very tight knit so dont say something bad about a teacher in front of another teacher b/c THEY WILL GO AND TELL THEM!!! good luck :)
