  1. Thanks everyone for the info! I have one more question whats a PCA and how do you become one?
  2. Do you automatically become a cna after your first clinical?
  3. Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I think i'm going to apply to Lawrence Memorial/Regis college Nursing Program for Fall 08. Right now I attened Salem State College. Their reasons for rejecting me was they didn't have enough room. The chairperson told me she was only allowed to accept 10 students for next semester. I'm still upset since I have been meeting with a nursing advisor and this is my third rejection letter. I also have all of my prereq's completed to start Nursing classes. Right now my gpa is a 2.8 and I have all b's and b-'s in my lab sciences. I hope this will be good enough to get into some nursing program.
  4. I just recieved my third rejection letter from my college's Nursing Program! I am so stressed and don't know what to do. I have all my prereques completed, so I can start Nursing classes next semester. Now i'm going to be a year behind in nursing classes and I feel like I will never be accepted to any program. :-( I have B's and B-'s in all my lab sciences so I don't know what the problem is. What really makes me mad is there are people in the program wiht lower grades than me and are retaking classes I already completed with an acceptable grade. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?
