I wish to apply 4 the fast track program because my girlfriend is expecting and i dont want her to wait 2 long b4 i complete my degree. what did u fond the most difficult during your first and second semester, what do u recommend i do for classes and clinical, and what are easy to commit but dire mustake i should avoid.

Teas Test
well i took the teas test for Cochran nursing school 12/12/2008 and Im still waiting to know if i have been accepted. I had 2 wait until 1/9/09 to speak to a representative and i then spoke to Ms. Vitola on the 12 yet i did not get a definite answer. I was told that I'll receive another call in two weeks to arrange an interview with their committee. This have left me a nervous wreck. The holidays were hard to enjoy because i did not know if i am accepted or not. Does anyone who have been accepted by this school have any advice to calm my nerves until i receive my results? Your word of advice will by well appreciated.

I have the fortified my math skills and Im more than ready this time around but i have no idea of what to study for in the science part of the test. Does it consist of A&P 1 and 2 or chem or physics or both. Please this is very important that i pass this test. I have a child on the way and hes going to get everything his dad didn't. Need Help. Need An Opportunity!!!
Just one more question i was researching the school a bit and it seems kind of competitive to get in. On one site it said that the entrance level was moderate, being that only 13% of applicants were accepted. With that being said, do you think that i still have a chance?

Need Help. Need An Opportunity!!!
I recently transfered to Lehman College from Bronx Community College in hopes of becoming a RN and have completed all of my core prerequisites, however I could not seem to get into either nursing programs due to a long waiting list and a 2.4 GPA. What would be my best course of action to attain my goal of becoming an RN. Is it possible that i can be accepted by an entry level college (in the state of New York) that gives a BSN in nursing with my current GPA? or should I pursue becoming a LPN and make the transition from that point on?, would that decision be easier? and if i was to take the route of becoming an LPN, are there any suggestions on how I would start this process?

Need Help. Need An Opportunity!!!
Thanks for the reply, but that school is out of my price range and too far. I heard that BOCES may be a good option. Do you know anything about that school, or any other lpn schools that are in the bronx, manhattan, or westchester areas?

Need Help. Need An Opportunity!!!
Thank you for the advice, but Bronx Community would not allow me to retake the courses that brought my GPA down to a 2.4, due to the fact that they only allow you to retake courses in which you receive failing grades. Therefore 1 bad semester full of D's seemed to have left me with little to no options.
