rebmem, i forgot to add..that i wasn't really that confident going into the second test. actually i was more anxious and nervous this time. i just felt better afterwards. to be honest i didn't know when i would ever feel ready for this test. but since i finished my review book, i figured i'd try it again. hopefully you are right and i passed - thanks for the encouragement. hope your studying is going well and we will pass this silly test!

I'll be praying and hoping for us all too! I can relate to you too...got 265 first time (that was mind numbing!) and 75 this time around. Thank God!

I used the Saunders Comprehensive Review, Saunders Q&A Review and Saunders Strategies for Alternate Item Formats. I went through most of the Comprehensive review book and did about half of the other two books. I took the NCLEX for the second time yesterday so I do not know yet if I passed. But I can say that I definitely felt more confident this time around. One of the many things I think that caused me to fail the first time is that I was all over the place in my studying doing some studying with Kaplan, some with Saunders, some with Lippincott and some with Davis. It may work for some people (going through different books), but I think it just disorganized my studying and ultimately I wasn't focused. Personally Saunders helped me and it was better that I stayed focused on just those books. I would have done Suzanne's plan, but I couldn't wait for two weeks because of my work situation. But as I've read it's worked for a lot of people. Good luck!

Hello! I am new member, but have been lurking for a while. It has been very encouraging to read the postings here! Thank you all! You see, I did not pass the NCLEX the first time, but just took it the second time today. I feel better about this time around (more confident about my answers), but I still doubt as to whether I passed this time. I got some questions that although were not the same they were a bit similar in that they were regarding the same disease and classifications of meds. I wonder if this is a bad sign like the CAT system knew what I didn't know or something. I got some repeat questions the first time around too. I was wondering if anyone that passed got a few questions that were on the same disease/meds? I wonder if it's a bad sign too that I think I did better. I keep hearing/reading that people say that if you think it was easy then you might have failed. Anyway, I'm just anxious and just trying to keep the hope alive. :) Thanks.
