I am on the alternate list. Completely baffled as my TEAS & GPA seem very comparable to those who got in. All prereqs complete & Med Term. My time will come! :) SOOO HAPPY for those of you who got in! More mentor students & friends ahead of me can only benefit me that much more! C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S !!!
  2. Okay, I had a friend check my mail for me, and I am on the alternate list.... anyone know what the chances are of getting in from here? Very mixed feelings, would have loved to have gotten in, but alternate is better than a No!? Any input you have would be great!
  3. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! I was just reading through this entire thread, feeling down and losing hope. My stats are similar to yours, so when I got to your acceptance letter I am now feeling hope again! :) Can't wait to get home and check the mail!!!!!!!

Has anyone heard when letters will be mailed? So anxious!!
  5. I'm waiting with you! Trying not to be obsessive about it. But I am going to have myself a great big pity party if I don't make it. Then I'll get over it and try again for Fall.

  8. Are your accuplacer results showing up on your Degree Audit? Mine are not, but when I go to WebAdvisor and check test results it is there.
  9. My original plan was to apply to WC & TCC for Spring 2010, but Karen said the program that starts Spring is Nights/Weekends, which won't work for me. So I am applying to TCC and if I don't get accepted, I will apply to both TCC & WC for Fall 2010.
  10. I finally got myself out of procrastination mode and took the Accuplacer and passed to test out of 0350! Woohooo! Now onto the TEAS ~ have you taken it yet?
  11. I had planned to apply at both WC & TCC for Spring, but found out that WC Spring program is night/weekends. So I will apply TCC and if I don't get in, apply for WC & TCC again for Fall admission.
  12. I take Accuplacer next week, then TEAS, then turn in application and sit and wait and wait and wait! :)
  13. Awesome! Congratulations! So just need 64+ on Elementary Algebra section, right? Have you taken TEAS yet?
  14. smvtx23 ~ how was the accuplacer? I got waaaay sidetracked and am finally taking it next week.
  15. I am in the same boat, need to pass in order to apply next month! This is the info I have (copy/paste from website): Accuplacer test results are available as soon as the test is completed. If a re-test is needed, there is no waiting period for first time re-testers; however after that, there is a 30-day waiting period. The THEA may be taken after the Accuplacer without the 30-day waiting period.
