  1. yeah.. you never know about that. I wasn't quite sure either. However, I think you passed as the computer shut off at 75 questions..
  2. Melinanpt, I felt exactly the same way after I took my exam. The computer shut off at 75 questions and from what I remember I got about 35 questions wrong. So I totally thought that I failed. HOWEVER, the exam is designed so that everybody gets about 50% of the questions right only. So out of 75 about 37 questions right. What matters more is the type of questions that you answered right. If you answered some difficult questions right, you might pass. And also, about 15 of the questions that you were asked are only test questions that don't count toward your score. They are testing these questions for future NCLEX exams. Also it seems to be a common belief that if your computer shuts off at 75 questions you passed. So I am pretty sure you passed, but of course there is a possibility that you didn't. I am sure you are feeling anxious. I felt so awful after the exam. Seems like everybody who takes it feels like they failed. Try to relax within thse two days. You will find out soon. I will keep you in my thoughts and I'll be wishing for the best for you. Please let me know if you passed. I am sure you did. have a beautiful day charlotta
  3. congratulations!!!!!!!! lets both relax and enjoy a few days of doing absolutely nothing. :-)
  4. And to you, Sillybest maybe RN- So much good luck to you. I will be thinking about you and wishing you all the best.
  5. hey you all! I passed the NCLEX!! Thank you all again SO much for your support.
  6. thank you all so much for your answers. To answer to caroladybelle, I am married to a US citizen, I have a green card, I just passed the NCLEX, I have taken the exam in professional English, I graduated from an English-language nursing program in Finland and all my paperwork is alright. So now I'll just start looking for a job. Thank you all SO much for your kind support and advice. You have no idea what it means to have a network like this for a new nurse in this country. :-)
  7. thank you all so much for your supportive answers. I really really appreciate it. I will let you all know here how it went on Monday when I get the quick results. thank you again. and CritterLover, your comment about the Xanax is something I often wonder too. :-) have a good night everybody.
  8. Hello, I just took the NCLEx exam and I am feeling really anxious and worried about te results. The exam was over after 75 questions. My question is: Does anyone of you know how many out of the 75 can be wrong without you failing? I am feeling so bad right now, I had quite many wrong for sure. I really studied hard for this exam and now I feel so down. Looking forward to hearing from you. Charlotta
  9. I graduated from nursing school in my home country, Finland, last December, worked as an RN there for about two months before moving to the US. I am just about to take my nurse licensure exam here. I have so many questions about nursing here, but I am hoping someone could answer at least some of them> 1. What are the chances of a new graduate to get a job in an ER? 2. How long is the orientation time in an ER? 3. How much do new graduates get paid here? 4. Do they have evening/night/weekend bonuses here? Thank you so much for taking the time to look at this. I am a little bit nervous to start working in this country! :-)
