Is this true??
It depends on the school. In my general area there are three CRNA schools, only one has the early interview/admission policy. You could always call and ask the school you are interviewing at to put your mind at rest. If it makes you feel better, I know two people who interviewed last and got in on their first interview. Good-luck!

Nervous about telling co-workers
First, Congratulations! It takes alot of hard work to get accepted into school. Second, SHHHH..... It has never failed to amaze me how others become so envious of something they either did not want or never worked for. Just take it in stride, it will all be part of the past soon. Best Wishes!!!

Acls?
Hi, I've never heard of that policy.. If you want to get your ACLS, go for it! Even if you pay out of pocket. Are you a RN working in a ICU? Your hospital should encourage you to go! Best wishes!!!

Applications with Pictures
I agree, that would not sit well with me either. I applied to two schools and received and application for a third school, none of the schools required a picture. I have not heard of that practice. Actually, I would think it might open the school up for a legal issue if an applicant was not interviewed and had great scores, grades and experience. Just a thought!!
