  1. OldGuy What is the market like for NP's in Northern California? I actually left So Cal for Texas partly because there were no inpatient jobs. Is becoming an NP the real solution to finding work in NoCal? Or is the market just saturated? Would a mental health specialization help? or is there more demand for med/surg? Just an RN
  2. Average Salary means very little for me now that I've been in the job market for 10 years. The most important factor for your financial well-being is job availability. From a PA-relative, the PA job market in the DC metro area is over-saturated. He moved for family and has been working admin jobs for 3 years. I hear that nursing unions mandate the hiring of NP's over PA's in certain HC organizations. What is your experience with the job market? Is there an overabundance of NP's as well?

  4. i will be taking mine too on july 20 and it seems that i forgot most of the things that i read, but the best that we can do is to pray for God's grace to help us remember what we did study... pls include us in our prayers too, thanks to all... God bless!:)
  5. i'm already married and waiting for my biometrics and scheduled interview in the uscis, that i don't know when so its hard going back and forth to the philippines esp. we don't have enough budget to do such... how i wish i was able to do that before coming here i plan to i was already enrolled in a review center there but my visa arrived last june 2008 and expired oct 2008... so no choice need to fly here no time to to take the local board exam...

  7. now we are processing our AOS, and waiting the immigrations reply, but meanwhile i can't go out US not unless greencard will be release, thanks for the replies...
  8. i know this was already a thread then, i was just feel upset, since i am a newly graduate from the PHilippines but wan't able to take the NLE i graduated april 2008, my K1 visa was approved too at that month april 2008, and now i am having my AOS, and plan to take NCLEX but i can't because of this new requirement, pass NLE first... but it quite hard to leave now since i would be worrying leaving my husband here, and we were planning to have our church wedding to next year... to anybody sorry i was a bit emotional, i just wanted to release what i feel....
