Probably got Anxiety problems. I have the same problem with some nurses. Just be calm, count to 10, and continue with the report. Just say - have no idea! when you actually don't know! Nurses that "think" they have know everything needs to focus on the overall clinical problem.

In Sweden we use (all of the above) and also wash the pt in alcohol. There is another med that lower the fever but I cant remeber it. Sorry! I'll try to post it later.

I think you should begin as soon as possible. Read alot and be prepared. It's fun to see the beginning of a new unit. Good luck

No, it's not a studet question. Just something i've noticed during the years. OK alcohol is a vasodiator but, in this case, it never gets to the vessels (?). Why does'nt it get warm when I only use alcohol.

OK my first post! Wash your hands in cold water and rinse at once in alcohol. Whoaaaaao! It gets warm. ???? Only hitech/academical answers please. LOL
