Hi there! I graduated from the nursing program at MCC 3 years ago, and have since then worked Med/Surg and in the last year trained in on OB. I highly reccommend the program. They pack a great deal of information into two years, but the payoff is worth it. We actually had a satellite program from out town, and did all our clinicals at the hospital that was hiring us after graduation, with very little travel to and from Miles City. The instructors are pretty strict, but also very helpful, and their main goal is to prepare you to pass the State examination, get your license, and be a great nurse! I think what sets MCC above alot of other programs is that it is a smaller school, it is an older program with years of success, and the instructors are for the most part from eastern Montana and have a lot of experience nursing here, therefore that is how they train their students. Good luck to you.
