French diploma in Ontario ?
The original plan is to move to Ontario around Toronto because i have some family there in Mississauga so my guess is 30 ot 40 km around Toronto. Here hubby and i in our prof. experience have been doing a total of 2,30 to 3,30 hours go an back for work, still obviously we d be happy to live somewhere not to far from work, but the most important of us is to live in a "green" place. We are both from big cities, Berlin, Moscow and Paris so tbh we're sick of beton, traffic lights and smell of gaz just outside our door, so we r ready to even drive some long routes to go work :) Also another question. I wish to make a specialization after the 3 years, probably in Canada for neonatal care wich is my goal. Do you know if the neonatal care nurse have good chance to find a nice job around Toronto. Oh yes and one last thing :) Do you have some nice links to have the right invofmations about diploma legislation in Canada and Toronto -Ontario especially :) Thank you a lot for all the help

French diploma in Ontario ?
Hi everyone, I m new to this forum, just found it through googling. I'm about to start a 3 years nursing studies and i m wonder if anyone knows if french nursing diploma works in Ontario ? With my hubby, we'r planning to put a request for immigration to Canada during the next year. The canadian embassy told us, that a standard immigration request takes between 20 and 36 months so i believe i'll have time to finish my studies. I heard that in Canada nurses are in a big shortage and considering that i always wanted to work as a nurse i decided to go for it. Also i havent yet figured the different nursing names as RPN etc... here we basiclly have a regular nurse, then nurses with speacialities and nurses working as their own boss. Can anyone explain me what different kinds of nurses exists in Canada? Thank you by advance for any help and explanation you could give me, this will really help :) Sorry for my horrible english, but i learned what i know from translating english songs only so my knowledges is quite limited Amadie
