I have always wanted to be a Pediatric nurse and as the time draws closer to my 18th birthday I am excited. I will be taking an EMT course when I turn 18 and I can't wait.

    wow... wonderful story. It reminds me of when my grandmother died.. except it was at her home. They let her go home to die because they could do no more for her. She died of cancer so this was a very touching story.

    Yes pain management is VERY important but we must find out what is causing the pain and fix it, if we can. I have heard of many people who have been on pain killer and the docs seem to ignore the thing that is the CAUSE of all their pain. Just a thou...
