i have not been around the state board of nursing except when i was in my last semester clinical and they came to that hospital. all i can say is that i hope you know the policies and what the hospital expects you to be doing. they all freaked out about having pops and food at the nursing station. they had to have the drug carts locked and the mars and charts in the right place. they can pull you aside at any time and ask you questions, such as dealing with precautions, what would you do in this sort of situation and what not. i know it is stressful but i work midnights and i wouldnt realy have to deal too much with it anyway. hope it all goes well, elaine
