  1. First day in school for LPN....

    I too have been told not to go that route, the LPN first, then the RN. I'm 43 years old and have tried nursing school twice before, not getting past my prereqs. I have a special needs child, so everything was put on hold for a while. I am so looking forward to starting my LPN training very soon and if I never get beyond that then so be it. I'll still be helping people and that is the important thing. Don't listen to others - I wish I hadn't listened for so long and just plowed ahead. Good luck!
