  1. wow...thank you for sharing...as i was beginning to wonder about working full time and going to school full time (b/c i want to be finished with my bsn in one year also). i don't have any children right now, so i'm thinking i will start out working full time and going back for the bsn full time also....until i get too stressed out and then i will just work part time. i really appreciate everyone sharing their stories...i hate making wrong decisions so it helps to hear how everyone else manages.
  2. Thanks for all your replies!! It's helps to decide on things after hearing about other nurses experiences. I really appreciate it. :thankya:
  3. So glad you are deciding to go for it...it will pay off. Go Tigers!!! That's my hometown :-)
  4. There are some schools that you can get your RN degree in about a year if you already have a bachelor's degree in something else. (It's very fast tract though) You're still young...so I would go back now if I were you. I have 2 more years left in nursing school and then i will be an RN and I'm 27...most people in my program are older than me. So it's never too late to do what you really want to do. Good luck!
  5. Thank you that helps a lot. :-)
  6. Hi everyone, I was hoping any nurses who got their 'RN-BSN' degree could share with me their experiences while working as an RN and getting their BSN....Did you work part-time or full-time and was the program manageable??? Thank you :uhoh21:
