I am wondering if anyone is using transcutaneous bili meters in the well-baby nursery. What protocols are you using with the meter (i.e. day that bili is done, at what level do you get a serum bili, etc.) Thanks in advance.

Just wondering if anyone out there uses any type of postpartum depression screening before discharge. I have heard of a few that are using them. If you are using a depression screening what type of referral service do you have in place. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You can get a practice test from 2003 online, there is a fee attached. I found that was helpful to study from. Do a search for CCRN and that is where the test is found. Also there are different reviews for RNC all over the country, just get online to find one near you. There are Core circulum books available along with "Made Easy" books that I studied from. When you sign up for your test there will be an outline sent to you, make sure you know all the material.

We are going to start computerized charting in the next couple of months with the WatchChild system. Is anyone else using this system? How does everyone like it?
