Hello everyone, I need some help..ok, I've decided to go into the nursing career field mainly cause it's something that I've wanted to do for awhile. Currently I'm in the AF and am just getting tired of deployments, also my husband is active duty too. Well, I've been looking at a couple of different colleges/universities in the local area. Louisiana Technical College says they have an 18-24 month program. I was also looking at Southern University @ Shreveport, but haven't really heard any information on them. And then there is Northwestern State University. Ok, so basically I'm looking for something that when my enlistment is up in Nov 08 it won't be hard to get into. I know i have to take my ACT test but I've also taken classes on base and online would these transfer for my prereqs..Algebra I, Speech, English I, and a couple other. Which is the best place? Also, do I have to have all the pre reqs out of the way to be able to get into one of these colleges/universities?
