I would like to become an RN with my Master's and hopefully upgrade into a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I've already visited an Army recruiter who he told me that school, housing, books, and meals were covered. Now I am just exploring the other branches so I make the right decision. Thank you by the way for replying to my post.
I am a senior high school considering my options for my nursing career. I would like some information on the nursing requirements for each military branch (marines, air force, navy, and army). I need to know whether I need to go to college before I enlist or would the branch I get into provide the expenses needed for my education while I am on Active Duty. I just want to make the right decision for where I would receive my nursing education.
I'm finishing my high school career in June '08 and right now I am exploring my options. The military really attracts me but I'm not quite sure which branch would offer Nursing education for me with all expenses paid for. I would like to enlist right after graduation. I just need brief descriptions of each branch's nurse field.
