  1. I just wanted to let you know that your son is in my thoughts and prayers. Many hugs and good wishes for him.
  2. Thanks so much for the replies! I do have family to help out. My husband is very supportive, but he is working 2 jobs until I finish school so is quite busy. I could find someone to stay with my youngest, but I am "it" once I'm home. I just wonder how one can do 20 hours a semester with kids??
  3. I have a BS in Psychology working on a masters and am considering dropping out of graduate school to become a nurse. I come from a family of nurses and doctors. I really think it is something I would enjoy doing and the flexibility of the job is very appealing to me. My ultimate goal is to go into psychiatric nursing. Anyway, there are a few accelerated BSN programs in my area. They range from 12 mos to 15 mos. I have 3 children ages 4, 9, and 12 and am wondering if this route is doable? Has anyone gone through this program with children and "survived"? I would really like to be in the workforce in the next couple years, and this program is the only one that would allow me to do it. Thanks for any advice!
  4. I am new here considering changing my career path. Does it mean anything that as I was reading about your day, I was thinking "ohhh, I would love this!"?
