  3. Hi everyone, I am hoping you can answer a couple of questions for me. i am already a student at massasoit and need to do all my pre-reqs before applying for the nursing program right? I did well on the reading part of the test but on the math, not so good. i already took fund of math last year and got an A- ,and now i need to sign up for the summer sessions. Any suggestions on what i should take now? I would like to apply for the fall '10. Thanks alot:bowingpur
  4. I am starting out easy. I already took a math fundamentals class,my weak spot. In the fall, I am taking Eng comp 1 and biological principles. I am just hoping i cant keep them all in check. I have a Husband and two kids and a p/t job as an RCA right now. Good luck to you!
  5. I am going to Massasoit, taking my pre-reqs right now. Do my pre-reqs all have to be done before applying for the nsg program? If not, then What are the pre-reqs you suggest I get done 1st? I am taking eng comp 1 and biological principles in the fall. Should I make an appt with a advisor at all? How should I prepare beforehand? Someone told me I should do med index cards and study them. Which meds do I cover in those? Thanks for your time and answers!
  6. WOW! Now I just heard they took away the waiting list at CCRI. Hmmmm! They didnt say why but they did say you could probably get right in now. I should have known it sounded too good to be true. lol. Thanks Winterluv!
  7. I live right on the RI border and started my pre-reqs at massasoit, wondering if I should change to CCRI come January? Any pros/cons for either school? BTW, CCRI would be a bit closer for me! Thanks in advance

  9. Hi everyone, I need some info, hopefully you all can help me. I had some $$ set aside for my 2 classes this semester, an unfortunate event came about and the $$ needed to be spent on car repairs. School starts Monday and I have no funds to go. My question is , is there a way for me to still get in eventhough I am only 2 days away from the start of classes??? Can a student loan/pell grants or others be done that quickly, and is it EVEN possible??? Should I just wait out the semester and go back in January? Thanks in advance!~ Cheryl
