I made my portfolio bcause cedars required it for the interview, but you can always use it for other job interviews & they'll probably find it pretty impressive! so it's not a bad idea to make one.

hi shine86, i didn't include all of my clinical rotation experiences on my resume, but i did include my internship as part of my professional experience. i thought it would make it too long, esp since my resume is already a page and a half. i included a copy of my clinical rotation experiences in my portfolio in case they wanted to see it, but they barely glanced over it. it seems like they were open to other gpas, but leaned toward higher gpas. mine was 3.7. i wore a black suit (skirt) w/heels to the interview. from what i saw most ppl were wearing pant suits though. good luck & i hope this helps! :wink2:

Congrats rnsofy, I also received the same stuff as flywithme2nyte in my packet & will also be starting on the 20th. If you haven't gotten your packet by now maybe u should give your recruiter a call.

Thanks for all the congratulations! :loveya: No official offer letter, just a call. HR said they would send some info regarding orientation and a study guide. My gpa was 3.7, I have an MSN and I already took the boards. I thought the interview went pretty well, but w/so much competition you can never really tell. I felt comfortable, but I know I didn't answer every question perfectly. I thought my portfolio was nice, but I don't know how that compared to everyone elses. Sorry, I don't have any suggestions for housing either. I think I may end up commuting bcuz it's just too expensive. If ne one finds ne thing reasonable, please let me know also!

Yay! Congrats to everyone! :yeah:I just got the offer, so they are still calling people. I just had to know the real application stats, so I asked the recruiter. She said there were 1500 original applicants via online, but the number dropped as ppl declined to be interviewed. They interviewed over 500 ppl in 2 days and have 60 spots to offer to the June group. Other offers were also given to ppl who applied back in Feb., so good luck everyone!!!
