I am in search of a home study LPN to RN program. I have been online and the phone talking to different companies claiming to be "the best". Has anyone gone through the I Study Smart program? I need a workbook program. Not a program where I have to sit in front of the computer for long periods of time. Thanks!
Thank you Don! That is what I am trying to find out. When I look at Excelsior though, I have only been able to find "online" classes. I DO NOT want to sit at a computer to try to learn. I won't succeed. I need texts and study guides or work books. I need someone I can contact via phone for help when needed. The computer takes way too much time for me. Have you completed your RN through Excelsior? If not where and was it a home study program? Did you get clinical experience other than working in a hospital setting? The hospitals in my area do not hire LPN's. Joy
Chancellor's has a clinical class? I talked to a '99 graduate of Chancellor in my area who did not get any nursing clinicals. I will look it up, but if you have any more input, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks for your reply!
Hey there! I'm new here. I've been researching different LPN to RN homestudy programs. So far istudysmart looks like a good choice for me. No contracts, seems more reasonable cost wise, go at own pace, uses Excelsior College testing. Only down side is no clinicals except for a $1700 pass/fail test at the very end. Any input?
