  1. As fulltime parents, Exlcesior College allowed both my husband and I (both LPNs) to earn a degree at our own pace. The study guides are extremely helpful and scheduling your own Nursing Concept test when you are ready is a definite plus. The CPNE is the Clinical Portion of the schooling which is equivalent to 8 credit hours. It is a "doable" test if you put your mind to it. FOCUS, and remember these three things: :idea:1)Control your stress and anxiety about the exam so it does not control you. 2)Patient safety, including ID'ing the patient is a priority and part of the 20 minute check, and 3)Know your critical elements. Good Luck with your education! Michelle and Nolan Subscribe to our free blog! Ask questions...we WILL help! www.stressfreecpne.com
  2. Depending on where you live, there are several workshops out there. I know Excelsior offers one as well, which I would highly recommend. http://www.excelsior.edu then login and search for CPNE workshop. There are also another less expensive ones, like http://www.stressfreecpne.com Good Luck with your CPNE!
