  1. Hi guys again, I have another question, sorry... - Like the Topic Title said: are there any college courses that you found were similar to nursing? I might not like nursing as a college major, is there some other major that is close to it so I won't have to spend another year in college for the required classes? THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH AGAIN!!
  2. Sorry for that. I'm just exploring around what careers of what I want. I don't know anything so I'm asking all the questions I can. SORRY !!! if I sounded rude!!! I'm going to edit my post now!!!
  3. Hi everyone, I have a question about nursing yet again. I have a lot of doubts before I declare nursing as a career, so sorry about the troubles, and thanks for your input !! 1) As the topic said, are there any difference between a person who's studying in school (during the 4 year university/college) while being a nurse and a nurse who graduated? Any benefits? More options? I'm planning to be a nurse and study in college if possible. Is there any big difference between an assistant nurse and nurse? How much is the wage difference? 2) DELETED OUT, Sorry for the rudeness, I got my answer now. Thanks! 3) Do you have to be a nurse first then you can go deeper into a specific field of nursing (example like informatics)? Like..... You can't come out of nurse and become a (just example) nursing informatics but have to be a nurse first then nursing informatics? Thank you AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Hi everyone, I'm now registered and onto the forums, here i come. I hope I posted in the right place. Sorry if i didn't ! I going to be a senior in high school, and planning to choose nursing as a major in Chicago. (planning to go to UIC, since I heard they're in the top ten for having the best nursing programs) Anyways, I have a few questions that gives me doubt in choosing a nursing career. 1) Just making sure, I know this is stupid, but you DO need a degree in nursing to be a nurse right? Non-grads can't get one since they don't have a degree? (in Hong Kong, a while back, anyone could be a nurse, but that's from one family member, don't know if it's true, so I'm making sure about this degree thing) b) if you're a non-grad and you can still get a job in a nursing, is there any difference to a grad with a degree in nursing? 2) I'm planning to do a double major, so are there any majors that are generally having the same pre-requisite classes. I know it's different from school to school, but still, how about your school? I don't think it's THAT different. 3) Any AP classes should I be taking before I go to college ?!? THANK YOU
