  1. Thank you cooblu and Galore, Cooblu- Thanks for the best wishes on my Acc. BSN degree aspirations. I know that the program won't be easy but I am willing to work hard to achieve the degree that I want in the shortest time. Good luck to you. Galore- Thank you for the advice. I am looking into many living arrangement options. Happy Holidays and Have a Happy New Year!
  2. Thank you Wgbem for your advice and stating your experience. Your advice will most likely be a deciding factor in any business/nursing decisions I make in the future. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!!

  4. Thank you Wgbem and caliotter3 for your advice!! Wgbem-- Thank you so much for responding. How long did you work at the bedside before you got the Home Care Coordinator job that you have now? caliotter3-- Thank you for your comments and I will be looking into it further.
  5. Hey Nurses, Thank you so much Tampagirl, anc33, Suesquatch, LeavingTeaching4RN and MB37 for replying back to my question. You guys are the best! I am currently looking into the following schools for my Acc. BSN: USF, UM, UNF, JU, FAU, BU and UF. For right now USF is my top choice but I am considering all options. Thank you Tampagirl, MB37 and anc33 for giving me info on USF and UF. I will def. contact student services about on/off campus housing. I won't be applying to Florida State, LeavingTeaching4RN, because they don't have an Acc. BSN program. Thank you for the advice anyway.
  6. ]Hi Nurses! ]I have a question concerning my career. I have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. I am in the process however of going back to school to pursue a Bachelors in Nursing /RN license. Since I have made this decision to pursue nursing I have been confused on how I can find employment combining both degrees. What job titles can I pursue? What types of opportunities are available to me after I graduate? I have spoken to many advisors but I would like to get more insights from nurses. Any advice would be appreciated.
  7. Hey all Florida Nurses, I just moved to Ocala, F.L and I am in the process of applying to the Accelerated BSN programs in Florida. My only concern is that I would have to dorm on campus since I am new to the state and there are no Acc. BSN programs in Ocala. I should be 24 years old by the time I start the program. Am I too old to dorm? Are there any older college students that dorm on campus? Any advice would be appreciated.
  8. NCRNCCM, Thank you so much for the advice! That idea sounds great. If I have any more questions I will let you know. hopeful84
  9. Dria, Thank you for replying back to my posting! I will take your advice and pick a field that interests me. It is good to know that I don't need a specific field to enter case management. Thanks again. hopeful84

  11. Hey everyone, I am interested in the case management field and I want to have an idea of how to end up with a CM job. I am planning on getting my Bachelors in Nursing and once I graduate what type of job should I take that will help me become a CM?? Any advice will help!
  12. Hey everyone, I am interested in becoming a CRNA and have been looking at the CRNA programs in Florida. Every program states that the intense program is fulltime and that working is not recommended. My question is how are CRNA students surviving then? I can understand the tuition part because that is what loans and scholarships are for but I am concerned about everything else, like rent, mortgage, gas, food, etc. How is that all being taken care of ? Any future or former CRNAs advice/solutions would be appreciated. hopeful84
  13. Thanks bigsyis, Thank you so much for your opinions! I will do some more research and take your thoughts into consideration. hopeful84
  14. Thanks MB37, Thanks for your input on USF. The added semester in the Acc. BSN program is horrible. I am so sorry, I hope it all works out for you! I am planning on applying to USF and I have two more questions. How many students are enrolled in the program? Since I am new to Florida would I be able to dorm at USF while in the program or is it for 4 year degree students only? hopeful84
