  1. 1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX? 75 2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? Princeton Review Nclex book. Saunders Q&A Review. Kaplan Pharmocology Notecards. 3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? I took an ERI review provided by my college that didn't help nearly as much as the Saunders book I purchased at Barnes & Noble. 4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? 48hrs. Took my test on a Thursday and got my results (minus seven dollars) on a Saturday. 5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? "I'm going to puke." I felt like I could get the majority of question down to two options and then I usually took my best guess. Lots of pharm. Lots of prioritizing. 6. Was this your first attempt at NCLEX? Yes. Many people I know decided not to study and I respect that. However, I know, for a fact, that if I hadn't reviewed my pharmocology (esp. common side effects) I would have failed. No doubt in my mind.
  2. I'm researching a variety of mental health nursing jobs hoping to find a good place to start my psych nursing career. However, I'm having trouble finding out the subtle/obvious differences between nursing in an inpatient state institution vs. a private/hospital inpatient facility. What can I expect?? Thanks!!
