  1. Congrats!!! I have to agree with some of the other comments. I am currently attending LMU@ the Blount site. I graduate in May 09. (Thank GOD!!!) This school is very disorganized. I would not recommend it to anyone considering nursing school. You are cheated on work that you are required to do just to receive satisfactory or unsatisfactory.I may not be the best person to ask for an opinion on this school. I will be honest with. I just pray that I make it through this semester I am curious to see what they have up their sleeve to surprise us with. Be prepared to have clinicals in Sweetwater.
  2. I currently go to the Blount Campus. I am taking O.B. now and the final is Tue. I should grad in May 09. I would not recommend this school at all. I don't have a prob with the 80% but what I do have a prob with is all the bs time consuming work that they put on you and you don't get credit for it. I have maintained an 80%,until now this class is hard. I messed up on one test and that is all it takes. You can only re-take one class after that if you fail another you are kicked out of the program. The clinical experience is excellent, however you don't get credit for your clinical work. That is my biggest concern. The way I see it most people can maintain an 80%, but that doesn't mean they will be good nurses, if you don't know your skills or have poor people skills you will drown no matter what avg you held in nursing school. So, word of advice think long and hard before you decide to pay that tuition, and do the work that you don't get credit for. I have already lost half my class.
  3. I am currently enrolled at LMU. I am taking there O.B. course over the summer, then I will only have two more semesters. Has anyone taken O.B. with Davis? This is a hard subject. I have been fine with my grades up until this class, Now I have a 78 avg and one more test before the final. I am soo scared that i am going to fail. If anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it.
