Yes. I was called out of the blue last week. I was number 2 on the wait list. I went to the office the same day. So did alt. #1.

Thanks so much for all of the words of encouragement. I am going to get on the "alternate admissions list" since I am committed and determined to be a nurse and attend LSUHSC! My intention was to inform CARE X applicants that letters were on the way...

I live in New Orleans.

The letter does not give the number for alternates. I called student services and will let you know if I find out anything.

There are two threads going on for CARE X. I posted on the other one regarding the letter I received today. I am on the alternate list. Good luck to all who make it and can plan ASAP!

I read all of 2009 posts. I feel like I know all of you! Can you tell me if anyone was accepted with a 3.5? The first time I applied they went by GPA only - all 3.7 and above. I'm reading that it is different now with the interviews. Thanks. P.S....
