  1. Thanks Suzanne. The community college here (Cuesta College) is impacted until 2011 so we can't even sign up until then. I'm going to try to sign up at Allen Hancock College in April but they're booked up for at least two years already and may have to close sign ups too. Oh well, I'll have to wait but I'm 53 and may be the oldest graduating nurse in history. Right now I'm a Psychiatric Technician at ASH and I do everything the nurses do except the paperwork and I get paid half what they do. The only part that keeps me from having an LVN is the Ob/Gyn rotation. We got more psych. Thanks for you help. Gina
  2. All the guys and gals in my classes finished our pre-reqs and we're looking for an AA Nursing school that CA State Boards accepts. We would love to do the online Nursing like Excelsior, but CA is the only state that doesn't accept online school. The schools near me are impacted with at least three years wait. Anyone know of a school within 150 miles of San Luis Obispo, Ca that isn't impacted? Please send pm Thanks, Gina
  3. The college nursing schools here are impacted until 2011. I'd like to join an online nursing school but I heard that CA is the only state that doesn't accept online nursing degrees. Is that true? Can anyone recommend an online school? I'm almost done with pre-reqs. Thank you, Gina
