  1. I think the waiting is the worst part. You are very nervous about the test because of all that is riding on it, but it is still in your control. The waiting - well, you have no control over when your results get posted at all and just keep second guessing yourself. It really is the most awful thing I have ever had to go through. Even my husband can't stop hitting the BON refresh button. I really think I may vomit. Less than 24 hours down since I took it yesterday at 1pm. I have no patience and this isn't helping any :)
  2. I don't want to freak you out but I felt the NCLEX tested neither. I took it yesterday and, although I can't remember much about the actual content, I do feel that it didn't test content more than it tested "What would you do as a nurse?" The priority questions were vague but if you use your ABC's and if none of the answers pertain to that, then what would you check? It was a very strange strange test, unlike any I have ever done. I really think they are testing a bit of knowledge but a lot on how you do under pressure. I mean, come on - I took 2 years of nursing school and only had a 75 question 45 minutes test prove that I will be a good nurse? Seems very weird and a bit scary to me. I haven't passed yet, so you may have to throw eveything I said out the window :)
  3. I really cannot take this waiting, it is horrible. I feel like I cannot concentrate on anything else. I bought myself a horse as a graduation present and I don't want to leave the computer to go see him. Plus, if I don't pass I really won't be able to afford him. *gulp* I haven't slept, and have wicked GI upset. This better be worth the torture I am going through :)
  4. I took mine today too and had 75 questions. I walked feeling like "huh, that was compelling" as you wait years for this day and it is very anti-climatic, over in 45 minutes. I had a lot of prioritzation and lots of meds - meds I had no clue existed, and not one math problem. I am very nervous and am not quite confident, in fact, I keep second guessing myself. I have the BON page up at all times and hit refresh every couple of minutes, you never know!!! *Sigh* Please let me pass.
