Hi everyone, At present I'm a student studying to become an RMN, my wife is already a qualified RMN and on qualification we are looking to relocate to eiter Aus or NZ. Obviously being from the UK our knowledge of specific areas is scant so..... 1) Are there any major disadvantages of moving to either country to take up the profession? 2) We would look to move into or close to major conurbation thus increasing the number of employment options, is this a sound propostion? 3) We would be looking to rent initially then move into the property market using our savings plus a mortgage. Are there any issues with Nurses obtaining mortgages and if possible could someone advise on the the round about amount (I.e. 2x, 3x of income) that the mortgage lenders are prepared to offer. Well enough there for a starter I have to admit Melbourne or Auckland are winning the race at present, though NZ is on top due to no 30 day quaratine for Muttleys. Thank you in advance for anyones advice Mike
