I just got laid off 2 months ago working in aesthetics. Since then, I've been having trouble looking for a LVN job, would it be possible for me to step down and apply as a MA? It's just so frustrating that I can't find any work! I have been through so many interviews. It seems as though no one wants to hire. I work at an assisted living and a registry but both are per diem and I don't get the guaranteed hours that I need. I've been on Indeed, caljobs, career builder, and hot jobs to apply and send my resume. Any tips???

I am a new grad with 3 months experience with med/surg. However , I quit that job to join with the registry. The registry that I joined just assigned me to work for a school today. My duties for this patient was to be in charge of her g-tube and the breathing treatment. I informed the patient's mother and the registry that I don't know how to do the breathing treatment. The mother and the registry stated "that's fine, if you have any trouble, ask the Nurse on campus". So, when it came time to do the breathing treatment, I did ask the school nurse. The school nurse told me that she will not train or assist me in doing the breathing treatment because the registry is not paying her and is not authorized to train me. Therefore, refused to do treatment. I contacted the registry and the registry directed me to the pt's mother. The pt's mother specifically said "withhold her breathing treatment." And so that's what I did and charted the incident. Now, I'm being blamed for withholding the breathing treatment. The RN and the school administrator questioned me about my LICENSE, and reported me to the state board of nursing. PLEASE help!! I charted the whole incident. Now, what am I to do? As far as work, I'm really scared to go back and work on the floor. I'm even thinking about quitting the whole nursing profession! The only reason why I joined it was because I was having a hard time looking for work after I resigned from the med/surg position. . .

I've applied to several nursing home and I still haven't received any feedback from them. It's really frustrating! I just don't know where to look anymore. Again, pls help! =) Btw, I'm located in the los angeles county.

I'm having a very hard time finding a LVN job. I've been on so many interviews for the past 3 months and still no luck. After I passed my test and got my license, I thought it would be easy for me to get a job as a nurse. Please help!!

I'm having a really hard time finding a job. I've never been to so many interviews in my entire life. I'm just not getting hired. Somebody please, HELP! =)
