  1. In Ohio must an individual have a GED to sit for the State Nurse Aid Exam? I called a voc/tech school and they said a person doesn't have to have a GED to take the course, but is it a must to be a STNA?

I know this a new post to an outdated thread. This might help the debate. Dr.Sears love him or hate him http://www.askdrsears.com/html/10/t102200.asp WomensHealth.gov http://www.4women.gov/breastfeeding/index.cfm?page=235#sleeping
  3. Is there anyone on this forum who plans to stay a CNA without moving on to nursing (LPN,RM,ect.)? Why is the CNA forum listed under "nursing student forums"? Thanks!
  4. Recently, I read Diary of a Midwife by Julia Van Olphen-Fehr she is a CNM. In the first chapter she tells about her first born childs birth and going through nursing school. The child was breast fed and she talks about witchy head nurse causing her numerous pumping problems. If you made up your mind to become a nurse you'll do everything possible to obtain that goal. As long as its a feasible goal. Now you may not be likely to become president or an astronaut but if you are determined a nursing career is difeinatly within your grasp. Pregnant or otherwise. Keep in mind what is best for you and your family. GOOD LUCK!
