  1. Ladies, Thanks for your very helpful replies! I was suspecting that it would probably take 3-4 years to get the ASN with the prereqs included and that it would be best to hold off until I had kids and they were in school. Fortunately, I have a good job (even if it's dead end) in the healthcare field that can pay the bills for now. My SIL's sister went back to get her ASN at age 38 (SIL has hers too but was smart enought to get it right out of high school!), so it's proven that this can be done! Thanks again for your words of wisdom.
  2. Hi, new to this forum! I'm looking into getting my ASN from Ivy Tech (or perhaps another school), but when I reviewed course schedule/times, it appears that most classes are offered during the day only (I looked at multiple campuses and this is the case). Given that my husband and I are planning to start a family very soon (I'm 30 and it's time!) and daycare is $$ (especially on one salary, which already will be a major sacrifice for us!), I was really hoping that there might be some evening class options or weekend class options. Do you know if this is the case at all with Ivy Tech? Are there other colleges here locally that do offer ASN 2/3 year programs that have evening or weekend options? Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
