  1. I bought all my books! Yeah, I have the thursday/friday lab and clinical.. Our orientation times may be different for Sept 3, but mine is 2-5 in WH-9 thats kind of a small room so thats why I think the times could be diff for others. I have 4 days of clinical total.. not counting the clinical orientation!

  3. the 1410 syllabus is in the bookstore!! its thick and orange and 13$ I just went there and bought it!

  5. I JUST started. I am in pharmacology. So I cant say, but people I have talked to are saying that it gets a lot harder.. Especially MED SURG.. I hear its like boot camp for nurses
  6. I feel bad for you guys, that would be tough! but remember its only a year of hell and when you are done you will be an RN!!! keep going :-D Im in the traditional and I'm already sick of studying haha, but I cannot imagine being in your position. Good luck to you!

  8. For those of you who havent taken your first exam yet, I took mine yesterday. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. try to relax and dont read too much into the questions. I got 100% :) so I'm very happy
  9. thank you jugre! why do we need to hang onto the syllabus? I plan on keeping my notes, power point lectures and syllabus! haha but I just wondered how it has been useful for you. Any other advice? my first pharm exam is monday and Im terrified!
  10. yeah, I think its just reading. I wrote out the math problems and stuff to practice, but hopefully the professors dont ask us to turn it in bc mine is so SLOPPY!
  11. yes, I received a letter as well. Look in your syllabus at the Learning Activities, its just underneath the content outline, and read the pages that it tells you to read for each book. There is a lot to do kind of so just do your best. } that's basically what the letter said.
  12. does anyone feel clear on serum osmolarity? and that whole chunk? I'm hoping it is explained well in class. I'm feeling a little lost.
  13. I got my titer for MMR, and Pox and something else too. and it cost 435$ NOT counting the actual doctor visit which was 75... No insurance

  15. Well they did recommend that we start the learning activities before class starts. But that is really smart that you took medical terminology! I'm sure that will be a huge help during school. I am very excited for class to start! :)
  16. I think its going to be pretty hard. How far are you guys on the learning activities? I am just finishing up Unit 1 and its already Sunday! I need to hurry up
  17. yes, in the syllabus look at the learning activities, its just after the content outline. it tells u the pages to do at the bottom

  21. I'm still waiting too! I'm assuming that we will have them before may 6th since the payment for classes is due that day.
  22. this was a fun read, thanks for posting this. Everyone makes mistakes, but this just makes me feel a lot better about my own. Haha I'm not alone!
