Congrats on everyones acceptances :) .. i was accepted for Fall 2009 at University of Pittsburgh main campus, West Chester University Univ. of PA, Alvernia University, Drexel University (4 year), York College of PA, Roberts Wesleyan, and East Stroudsburg Univ. of PA. im stoked for nursing school even though my parents want me to go to West Chester and I wana go to PITT .. grrr

what was the admission criteria like for acceptance because the site leaves you really looking for more .. what was your GPA / SATs like that sort of stuff

Okay so I am a high school junior and I was recently pulled into my guidance office the other day and we had the talk about college .. i knew for a while know that i want to go into nursing school but I don't know where to start ... i have been looking at many schools but i am unsure if i should go to a school with an ASN program where you can work and continue towards a BSN or just go right to the BSN program ... Also I was interested in Thomas Jefferson but I hear you have to complete pre re work before you can start your classes and everything .. along with that the question of, will i have to take a year off of school and complete pre reqs before i can even go into nursing school or is that just some of the schools ?? this is really hard to figure out and i was just needed some help and my counselor was really no help lol .. but also if someone could suggest some schools for me to look at that would be great ... i have a pretty good GPA unweighted of 3.4 and i am a male and plan on doing the allied health program at our school .. again any help or advice would be great THANKS !!!

I will soon be graduating high school and I am looking into becoming a CRNA. The thing is i need a little help on the way to go ... like the process to become one and which schools are good for this... Any help would be great.Thanks! =)

hello, i hope somene can help me .. i am a high school junior and my guidence counsler told me to make a list of colleges that id like to know more about for nursing .. im planning to go for four years to get my BSN ... I was wanting to stay in Pennsylvania for college and i was wondering if someone could tell me some good coleges for nursing in PA .. i am an average student about 3.4 GPA .. also since i am a male , will it be harder or a little easier to get into a good nursing school or nursing at all .. any advice would be great !!
