  1. Thank you SOOO much for the encouragement everyone!!! I just found out that I PASSED!!!!!!! It just goes to show, you can feel confident on about 5 items, cry for two days because you're certain that you failed, but still pass!!! Prayer really does wonders!!!! Thanks again everyone!!!!! :roll
  2. 1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX? 99 2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? I attended a 4 week, 8 class Kaplan study course, I read a 600 book full of essential nclex information, I also used study books such as "Nsg Made Insanely Easy, Kaplan NCLEX review book, NCLEX for Dummies, NCLEX Pharmacology Review, etc... 3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? UCF required ATI testing every semester, and HESI was optional. 4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? Still waiting, I took it today, June 21st, 2007. But I hear they are posted in Florida within 48 hours. 5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? I was completely certain that I failed and wished so badly I had been asked more questions to give myself more opportunities to redeem myself. 6. Was this your first attempt at NCLEX? Yes
  3. I just took my NCLEX today. I got 99 questions and I feel 99% sure that I failed. I have read a lot of postings, so it was encouraging to see that sometimes your gut feeling can be wrong. I am very frustrated because I did everything I thought was humanly possible to prepare. I attended a 4 week, 8 class Kaplan study course (in which I excelled during), I did over 1500 practice questions, I read an entire 600 page book full of information, and I tried to learn my medications and lab values, too! I felt like none of my preparation mattered today. Every time a new question would appear I would feel completely confused. I would try to rationalize, but always found myself in the end saying, "I don't know" and choosing an answer. Today I find myself in major need of encouragement from others who have gone through this before and maybe had a similar situation (& hopefully passed!!!) I felt as though I was getting a ton of questions that should have been easy, but really threw me because they were topics I felt unfamiliar with. I should get my results by Saturday morning, and I'm really nervous because if I were to go solely on my gut instinct, I would be certain that I failed... :uhoh21:
