I believe I checked the box on the new employer's application that asked if it were alright to call my previous employer because I thought it would look suspicious if I didn't. I held jobs for years and never ever had a bad reference.

Be very careful when you take your first job out of nursing school and make sure they have a good orientation program. I just went through a nughtmare and quit before orientation even finished. I went for another job and was hired but before I could even start, they called and said they been retracting their job offer because of a bad reference. I never even went out on the floor as a nurse and I recieved a bad reference.... lots of internal crap going on. I got out because I could see if I stayed I'd pobably lose my license. What can you do... Do you have to even mention a job even if you left before orientation ended?

I am in Massachusetts. I just took my test this afternoon. I had 85 questions and I had most med questions. I do not feel good about the test. I know everyone feels that wasy but I wish I knew if lots of people who get 85 questions fail:uhoh3:

Has anyone taken the Nclex-pn and shut off at 85... What are my odds of passing do you think I feel so helpless
